But we have to say that Tyson Lin is head-and-shoulders above them all. After selling our house (in just 12 hours!) we asked Tyson to help us find a new home in Bellingham. 3/29/2020 - CANDICE WILLMON Bought and sold a Condo home in 2019 in Bothell, WA If anybody put Tyson through the ringer it was probably me and my boyfriend and he came out still smiling. Tyson helped me sell my home and purchase my new one. On the purchase side, he was extremely available and proactive in trying to show us the homes that would fit our criteria. When we put an offer in on a house that we didn't end up getting (but loved) he was persistent in working with the selling agent of that house to stay up to date just in case the deal went through and we could purchase it instead. Similarly, once we found the house we ended up purchasing, Tyson was great at letting us see it multiple times, even bringing in a contractor who could help us better understand what renovations would cost (and I have chosen that contractor to do the jobs), and working with the selling agent to stay as up to date as possible on everything. On the selling side, we were ready to list the house and take photos and the day before my dog ate a marker that left pink stains all over the carpet. Tyson didn't panic and was at the ready in order to get carpet cleaners in the house as quickly as possible to try to help clean it up. He also recommended a handyman who could come and help make the few small repairs that were needed to get into prime shape for listing. We sold the house in 4 days and while I was out of town on business. All in all, Tyson has been a pleasure and he continues to be somebody who reaches out to make sure all is going well. He is friendly, kind, and caring, and that helps when purchasing a home and selling a home!

10/2/2019 - Jessica Yu Bought a Townhouse home in 2018 in North queen anne, Seattle, WA I was new to Seattle when I met Tyson. To be totally transparent, I shopped for my realtor. I met 5-6 realtors. Tyson is the only person that I felt could deliver what I wanted: My list of asks consisted of: (1) I want to see as many properties as possible, and I needed someone to be well informed on the areas and give me a good grasp of what each area had to offer. To be fair--this is not easy to do quickly. Every time I met Tyson--he had 3-6 properties in his back pocket that he would show me, at each property he let me know hot spots for dining/shopping, what is walk-able, why people love living in that particular neighborhood. He took everything I asked for into consideration without fail. Our meetings were always under 2 hours--this is the service I like, fast, efficient and well informed. (2) I was trying to move out of a bad situation and needed things to move quickly. Tyson was thorough in his research on properties and lenders. Tyson not only had lenders that he had an established relationship with where we could ask for things to move fast, but he also ensured that I had got the lowest interest rate that I could get at the time. For the greater Seattle area, I wouldn't pick anyone else at this point to buy or sell my property with other than Tyson--he really earned my trust with a job thoroughly done and a fast close. I sold a house using Tyson as my agent. He was very organized, professional, communicated really well, punctual, the list goes on. I interviewed at least a dozen agents who contacted me after I posted my home as a Make Me Move (pre-sale, not on MLS) on Zillow. Tyson was one of those agents and he made a great first impression upon meeting him. He was very friendly and polite and not at all pushy about becoming the listing agent. He sat down with my boyfriend and me and walked us through the various packets of information he had prepared, like comps, marketing strategies, and what set his team apart. He went through the information in a very straightforward way and made sure to answer any questions we had about the process and his services. When it came time to make a final decision on an agent, what set Tyson apart was his full service listing process. As part of his listing fee, he covered full staging, advertising on multiple platforms, photos of the home, 3D tour, drone photos (although this I believe is not always included), video, and house cleaning, among other things. It made the process a lot easier on us and our house went pending in about 2 days when other homes in the area had been on the market for a couple of months (full disclosure, the houses that were on the market longer went on market around the holidays, but still 2 days is really good). Up until this point, Tyson had been an absolute pleasure to work with and everything seemed to be going swimmingly. Then, the city of Mountlake Terrace, where the property is, flagged my home for not having had permits for a remodel that happened prior to me owning the property. Despite not commissioning the remodels myself, I was still on the hook for updating the home and getting it up to city code, which was a total hassle but also happened after the home went pending, so there was a schedule crunch on top of everything. This situation was terrible and I was going out of town for work but Tyson stepped in and coordinated with the city and contractors, figuring out what work needed to be done and when. He communicated what was happening to us in detailed and organized emails and made sure we were aware of deadlines for the people he was in contact with, as well as for action items we needed to complete, and who needed to be paid what during the whole process. Although the whole situation with the city was very stressful, Tyson’s work took a lot of the burden off our shoulders and all we basically had to do was write checks and wait for closing day. Tyson never wavered in his professionalism or demeanor at all during the process and kept everything running smoothly. He also communicated very well with the buyer’s side throughout the whole process and made sure everyone was on the same page. We really appreciate the time and effort Tyson put into selling our home, especially with the roller coaster of circumstances that came up. He is very good at what he does and I would highly recommend his services.

He helped me find a great property in Edmonds and guided me through each step of the process. He was patient while I looked at a number of possible places. His knowledge of the market and negotiating skills are top notch. He was always available when I needed to contact him and kept me informed as my offer was considered. To say he is simply knowledgeable about the housing market and real estate industry is an understatement - this guy loves his job and it shows! My husband and I are first time home buyers so we had no idea what to do or where to even begin. We were referred to Tyson by our friends who bought a house with his help and they had nothing but nice things to say about him. So, we set up a meeting with him "just to see what the house buying process is like," and we ended up liking him so much from the first meeting that we decided to start our search soon after! Tyson is warm, personable, professional, very friendly, and super responsive. We probably sent him several hundred emails and texts (haha sorry!) throughout our time working with him and he always got back to us in a timely manner with the answers to our questions. If he didn't know the answer right off the bat, he still responded and let us know he'd look into it for us, and then would get back to us. And he always did. We never had to follow up twice to see if he forgot about us. He helped us through 6 offers and was always very patient with us and the long process. He always reminded us that ultimately, everything was our decision, but when asked of him, he also gave his personal opinion, which we really appreciated since we trusted him and his knowledge and expertise. Now that we have closed on our house and LOVE everything about it, I know that we will refer him to friends and family who are looking for homes in the future. Tyson is exceptional at what he does and anyone would be lucky to work with him during the stressful home buying process. He makes it as least stressful as possible, so thank you thank you thank you!

The house was rough and required updates and cleaning, and Tyson used several of his contacts to help us estimate renovation costs prior to bidding on the house via an online auction, as well as helped us understand what the house could be worth once we fixed it up. He was extremely patient and provided us updates throughout the process, even when there was no update to be given. We were close to pulling out of the transaction a few different times over the 7-month period and he stuck with us and consulted us in a no pressure environment.
